This led to rumours the franchise could see its first bisexual Bachelor this year.
While it’s unclear if the new Bachelor will be bisexual, a Channel 10 spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia it was keeping its options open.
‘Trying to fit a square peg into a round hole is so 2020. Love is love and we look forward to casting our next Bachelor, whoever they may be,’ the network said.

According to the casting announcement, filming will take place between May and July this year, and may take up to 12 weeks.
It comes after a Channel 10 executive acknowledged the network’s two flagship dating shows, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, ‘needed work’.
Both programs bombed in the ratings last year, contributing to 10’s horror year that saw its audience share plummet below commercial rivals Seven and Nine.
